Sarah’s love for classic, playful, and approachable children’s clothing began in her own childhood—dressed in smocked and embroidered outfits lovingly chosen by her mom for every special occasion. That early inspiration sparked a lifelong passion, which took shape professionally when her oldest son was born and she noticed a gap in the market for timeless boys' clothing.

Her first venture, @gramandgrain, focused on custom-embroidered pieces with an emphasis on children’s playwear. Today, as the owner of Ann + Reeves Kids (ARK), Sarah blends that same spirit into ARK—infusing the brand with fun, custom prints and thoughtful designs, all while honoring its beloved roots.

Like many small business owners, Sarah wears many hats. She personally designs every piece in the collection and remains closely involved in all aspects of the brand, supported by a wonderful team.

A proud Houston native, Sarah lives in the Heights with her husband, Charlie, and their two boys, Teddy (4) and Walker (2).
